The rectangular pillow shape is a sensible bit of design — there are no limbs sticking out to be pulled off, and a dog can pick the whole thing up by the middle rather than dragging it by an ear. It also lies flat, so it doubles as something to rest a chin on.

The seams are stitched twice rather than once, which is a nicer bit of making than you usually get at this price. We want to be careful about what that means, though: it is a better-finished soft toy, not a chew toy, and the maker's own tag says plainly that it is not indestructible. DuraToy's rubber range is the one built for chewing. This is a soft plush pillow with a squeaker in it, and it should be sold as one.
