Tick-Off: clean, chemical-free tick removal
Ticks are found across the UK in long grass, woodland and heathland, and checking your dog or cat after a walk is a good habit. When you find one, pulling with fingers or ordinary tweezers can squeeze the tick or leave parts behind. The Tick-Off Tick Remover works differently: slide the hook under the tick, lift slightly and twist, and the tick releases from the skin without being crushed.
Every pack includes three hook sizes, from tiny ticks to larger engorged ones, and the tool suits dogs, cats, horses and people. It is a mechanical remover with no chemicals, batteries or replacement parts, so it can be washed with warm water and a suitable disinfectant and used again and again. Small enough for a pocket, glovebox or walking bag, it is also packed inside our Pet First Aid Kit. Afterwards, clean the area and keep an eye on your pet; if any part of the tick remains or you notice redness or swelling, speak to your vet.
