What makes this one different

The trouble with playing tug using a soft toy is that soft toys are not built for tug. Pull hard on a stitched limb and eventually the stitching loses.
This one gets round it the same way the Adjustable Piggy does. The ropes are not stitched-on limbs — two ropes run right through the body and come out at opposite corners, giving four knotted, tasselled ends. Pulling one end draws the opposite one in, so you can set how much rope there is to hold, and a tug pulls against rope running through the toy rather than against a seam.

If you are choosing between the two cows in this range, the difference is straightforward. This one is the tug toy — cord body, ropes through it, one squeaker. The Minty Cow is the softer of the pair, with two squeakers and a heavier fabric on the limbs, and no rope at all. Different jobs.
There is a small K9 Tuff Guard patch on the front. That is the maker's own marking and we will leave it at that. What we can tell you is what this is: a soft corduroy toy with rope through it and a squeak inside, for supervised play. Once a rope frays through or a seam goes, take it away and replace it.
