Most novelty-shaped toys are a shape with a squeaker in it and no obvious way for a person to join in. This one has a thick twisted rope looped over the top where the camera strap would go, so there's something solid to hold. That turns it into a two-player toy: you hold the rope, the dog holds the camera, and the pulling goes through rope rather than through a seam.

How it is put together
What it is made of, and what is inside it.
The detailing is nicely done. Grey panels top and bottom, a cream screen on the back, embroidered dials and little button icons, and a lens with a ring around it — all stitched flat rather than fitted as separate plastic parts. There's nothing rigid on it anywhere, which is exactly what you want in something a dog is going to carry around by the mouth.
At 140g it has enough weight to stay where it's put. The seams are sewn twice rather than once, which is a slightly better bit of making than you usually get at this price — though we'd rather you took that as a note on the sewing than as any kind of promise. The tag on this toy says, in as many words, that it is not indestructible, and we agree with the tag.
So: a soft toy for supervised play, with a rope you can hold. Once the rope starts to fray or a seam opens, take it off them and replace it.
